Moose Lake Resort was part of the extended Stennes family starting in 1946 when purchased by Del and Elvera (Ann Stennes’ eldest sister) Hall. At that time there were seven cabins, cold running water, outhouses, an icehouse and a cow “Daisy Mae’ who assisted in providing homemade ice cream for the guests. Even back then, the resort produced award-winning fish!  Elvera sold the resort in 1966, but Jack Buhn, Paul Stennes and Richard Stennes were fortunate enough to purchase it from the interim owners in 1972.  We have remodeled, added on and built new over the decades and we respectfully offer clean, fully-furnished, lakeview, new and updated cabins!
